:: Brighthouse "iPad"


Subvert collaborates once again with PanOptic to create a spot for Brighthouse Networks iPad campaign. Subvert art directed and assembled an entire house for PanOptic, embellished with cutting edge interior lighting and photoreal rendering.


:: Pepsi 'Boombus'


With a nod to the 80s, Subvert collaborates once again with DTrainFX to create a bumpin' spot for Pepsi's 'Refresh' campaign. Subvert was on set to vfx supervise the shoot in downtown LA. In order to realize Pepsi's vision, Subvert concept designed, modeled, and animated a passenger bus transforming into a giant boombox using photoreal techniques in lighting and rendering.


:: Tron: Legacy



Subvert welcomes Dylan Nathan back after his tenure on Tron: Legacy with Digital Domain. Dylan created the lighting and graphics for 40+ shots, including the Lightjet sequence.


:: Newsphone



Subvert collaborates with Mothership [DD commercials], creating 3D concept designs for a Newsphone commercial campaign.


:: FX 'Nip Tuck'


Subvert teams up with the Arsenal to create the visual effects for a sexy and surreal new promo for Season 6 of Nip Tuck, hitting theaters nationwide as well as broadcast. Subvert used CG and compositing techniques to create a transforming, idealized woman. Subvert also vfx supervised the shoot at Paramount Studios which included amazing, forced-perspective sets.


:: Tennis Channel U.S. Open


Subvert collaborates with Big Picture Group to create a striking promo for US Open, combining the biggest stars of tennis and the iconic locales of NYC. Subvert utilized photogrammetry and CG to add camera moves and character animation in 3D space.


:: Visa Olympics 'Nastia'


Subvert teams up with DTrainFX to create an inspirational and award-winning spot for the Visa Olympics 'Go World' campaign, narrated by Morgan Freeman and presenting US Olympic gymnast and individual all-around gold medalist Nastia Liukin in a brand new light. Subvert developed techniques to animate still images of Nastia in 3D space, utilizing camera moves and dramatic lighting changes.


:: Justin Timberlake 'LoveStoned'


Subvert collaborates with esteemed director Rober Hales on Justin Timberlake's latest music video 'LoveStoned'. Subvert designed a completely virtual environment and seamlessly integrated Justin Timberlake within it using state of the art techniques in photoreal CG lighting, camera matching, and compositing. Subvert also vfx supervised the shoot in Manchester, England. The video was featured in Stash 35.


:: Sprint


Subvert collaborates with director Laurent Briet and RSA for Sprint's latest commercial, in which a beatboxer DJ's with light generated by Subvert. The spot played in cinemas nationwide.


:: MagNet


MagNet commissioned Subvert to create a logo animation for their company presentation. Subvert utilized CG particles and lighting fx to simulate a world emerging from data.


:: FX 'The Shield'


Subvert collaborates with the Arsenal for a campaign promoting the final season of 'The Shield'. Subvert finessed CG particles to create a haunting but graceful effect of disintegration.


:: ABC 'LOST'


Subvert crafts a new promo animation for ABC's final season of 'Lost', in which Subvert generated a stormy CG ocean and used displacements to animate the refracting text.


:: ABC 'Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution'


Subvert creates an unraveling apple for the promo of ABC's upcoming series 'Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution', in which the 2010 TED prize-winning UK chef travels to America's unhealthiest cities to give its residents a food makeover using local resources. The full promo can be seen here.


:: 'Rain' Feature Film


Subvert collaborates with filmmaker Maria Govan for her feature film 'Rain' in which Subvert generated a looming, tropical storm for the opening sequence. The story takes place in the Bahamas and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
